Attorney Joseph J. Two is “Of Counsel” to the DeBlasio Law Group LLC law firm.

For over 25 years, Joe has focused his practice on complex civil, business and employment litigation cases.  During his legal career, Joe has worked for some of the finest law firms in Chicago in the world:

• For several years, Joe served as an attorney at Keller Postman LLC, a national law firm representing plaintiffs in complex litigation at the trial and appellate levels.  At the firm, Joe was the primary attorney responsible for managing over 100 cases from initial discovery through arbitration or trial, including mass arbitrations / class action litigation cases involving employment law, wage and hour disputes, discrimination and harassment claims.

• For over 12 years, Joe practiced law at Dentons US, LLP, an AmLaw 100 multinational law firm, where he focused his practice on complex commercial litigation.  At the firm, he managed discovery and factual development of large, complex litigation matters, and supervised all electronic discovery.

• Joe also has practiced at small and medium-sized civil trial law firms, where he gained significant experience managing case loads from inception through final disposition, including managing all aspects of discovery, dispositive motions, witness preparation,  taking and defending fact and expert depositions, participating in private mediations and settlement conferences, and taking dozens of cases to trial or arbitration.  At these firms, Joe’s practice involved many aspects of civil litigation with a focus on labor and employment, insurance, premises liability, local government law, construction disputes, and medical malpractice.

• Recently, Joe provided critical legal services to a prominent law firm involving summary judgment proceedings in a large employment misclassification case, and he also has assisted in discovery and trial preparation in a valuation dispute brought by shareholders of a multinational technology company.

Joe has been licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois since 1998 and his current practice is primarily based in the Ravenswood neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago.  Since July 2024, Joe has served as “Of Counsel” to the DeBlasio Law Group LLC law firm.  Joe provides added depth and experience on select client matters, and supports the litigation and counseling teams at the DeBlasio Law Group LLC law firm.  He is not an employee or member of the firm, but rather, works together with our firm’s attorneys on a case by case basis to support select clients of the firm.

Before becoming an attorney, Joe served a Major League Baseball minor league umpire for several years.
