DeBlasio Law Group Finalizes Settlement Agreements for Clients in Lightspeed Media Computer Hacking Lawsuit.

June 13, 2012 — DeBlasio Law Group has finalized settlements on behalf of six (6) separate clients allegedly involved in a computer hacking lawsuit filed in Illinois state court by Lightspeed Media Corporation relating to the plaintiff’s website and access to its customers’ passwords to gain access to Lightspeed’s subscriber content.  Terms of the settlement agreement are confidential.

The lawsuit asserts claims under the federal computer fraud and abuse statute, 18 U.S.C. § 1030 et seq., as well as common law claims for unjust enrichment, civil conspiracy, conversion and breach of contract.  A copy of the lawsuit, without the exhibits identifying the IP addresses of the John Does, can be viewed by clicking here Plaintiff’s Complaint.
